Sugar brings many important qualities to food, such as a savory surface, texture, preservability, and plays an important role to enhance the taste sensation.  

In order to give food these qualities, the sugar refineries manufacture different types of solid and liquid sugar.
What they have in common is that during manufacturing, they need to have careful control so that the sugar acquires the accurate structure and high quality. 

Here, a major breakthrough has been made. OPSIS has designed a unique monitoring system to make the production easier for sugar refineries. A new monitoring system that can analyse the sugar concentration continuously, online, directly in the manufacturing process.
